Backback is het flamboyante kind van HZM-gitarist Filip Wauters, saxofonist Marc De Maeseneer (Lady Lynn, El Tattoo Del Tigre,…) en drummer Giovanni Barcella (Moker, Jeroen Van Herzeele Quartet, …). Met z’n intoxicerende brouwsel van (free) jazz, rock, funk en blues is het Gentse trio volstrekt uniek en al 20 jaar een gevestigde waarde in het clubcircuit.
